a county birding resource. The list, containing 117 county entries
for the 75 or so DNR WMA's, was compiled from WMA information sheets, available
at the DNR headquarters building in Walton County near Social Circle and
from the DNR Web site, specifically the WMA hunting and fishing regulations
page located at the following URL: http://ganet.ganet.org/dnr/wild/game_mgmt/wmalist.html.
The information in this table can also be viewed alphabetically by WMA name at the following location: clag-wma.html. Please note that many of these WMA's are located along rivers which form the county boundries. If you don't know what that means, perhaps watching feeders would better suit your birding preference (not that there's anything wrong with that). |
